Transportation Endorsement

We now have our Transport Endorsement program recognized. Provide yourself with the essential knowledge and skills that are necessary to manage an emergency until more advanced medical help can be obtained. The major goal of this program is to asisst students in developing more confidence and competence in there first aid training to help them deal successfully with medical emergencies.

The Transport Endorsement program involves

  • Role and duty of the OFA Personnel
  • Circle of Care concept, SETUP scene assessment and mechanism of injury
  • Initial and secondary assessments, including the ABC's - Airway, Breathing, Circulation, along with history taking
  • Patient positioning and packaging

This supplement is inteded to be used along side the Level One program, not as a stand alone program. The student must be at least 16 years of age, and hold a valid Workplace for B.C. Level One certificate or equivalent.
